Your Bed and Breakfast : La Meissonnière in Ramatuelle
Offering a really great atmosphere instilled by its colourful owner, this friendly, Provençal-style maison d'hôtes is located halfway (3km) between the hilltop village of Ramatuelle and the famous bay of Pampelonne, 9 km from the port of Saint-Tropez.
La Meissonnière is an ochre-coloured Provençal-style house bordered by a flowering garden. The accommodation choice includes 5 rooms - all different - for 1-3 guests. All rooms are tastefully decorated in local style, with classic furniture and colourful fabrics, and offer air-conditioning, bathrooms, all modern comforts and private terraces. Guests can enjoy meals on request, with various specialities served in the shade of the bougainvillea, olive trees and the other Mediterranean varieties set around the terraces and garden. A safe guest car park is also at your disposal. Topped with a genuinely great, offbeat ambience, this maison d'hôtes is handily situated for exploring the picturesque villages of the Bay of Saint-Tropez, and is under 5 minutes from Pampelonne, Cape Camarat and Cape Taillat.

RAMATUELLE
Secrète sur sa colline
RAMATUELLE est un village à l'abri. Aujourd'hui encore, lorsque l'on entre dans la cité par la plaine, on a l'impression de pénétrer dans une place forte comme jadis on attaquait une forteresse ! Impressions de vacances ! Nul sarrasin à l'horizon depuis longtemps ! C'est une bourgade paisible, Ramatuelle, tranquille et sans exubérance, entendez sans excès.
A ne pas manquer :
La célèbre plage de Pampelonne. 5 km de sable fin et doré du Cap Pinet au Cap Camarat? Un des principaux théâtres du débarquement allié, le 15 août 1944, elle propose aujourd'hui 25 établissements de plage réputés dans le monde entier !
Le phare de Camarat. Deuxième plus haut phare de France pour la hauteur de sa source lumineuse, 130 m au dessus du niveau de la mer. En contrebas, le cap Camarat est inscrit à l'inventaire des sites. NB : le phare ne se visite pas.
Le sentier du Littoral. Il associe les plages de sable fin et la côte rocheuse, relie Saint-Tropez à la plage de Gigaro (La Croix-Valmer).
Le Cap Taillat. Magnifique presqu'île remarquablement protégée qui voit fleurir des espèces rares tels barbe de Jupiter ou palmier nain...
Le Rocher des Portes, appelé également l'île aux oiseaux.
Le Dolmen de la Baie de Briande. Sépulture datant de 2000 ans avant J.C., situé sur le domaine du Conservatoire du Littoral.
Panoramas :
Les moulins de Paillas étaient des moulins à vent utilisés jusqu'au XIXe siècle. L'un d'entre eux est restauré depuis septembre 2002.
Le col de Collebasse : une route très pittoresque rejoint La Croix-Valmer à travers une belle forêt de pins parasols (Alt. : 129 m)
